Pineapple Chicken

You need half an hour to have this amazing recipe on your table. Remands me of a beautiful trip to Thailand I took last year with my husband. 
 
Sweet and savory sauce, which coats pieces of pineapple and chicken will bring smile to every face around the dining table.  I guarantee! 

Ingredients
  • few teaspoons olive oil
  • 1/2 kg  boneless chicken thighs cut into cubes
  • 1 red bell pepper seeded, cored and cut into 1 cubes
  • 1 cup pineapple chunks 
  • 1 teaspoon minced garlic
  • 1 teaspoon minced ginger
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 3 TBS hoisin sauce
  • 3 TBS brown sugar
  • 2 teaspoons corn starch
  • salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

Heat the oil in a large pan over medium high heat. Season the chicken with salt and pepper to taste and add to the pan.
  1. Cook the chicken for 6-7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until chicken is cooked through. 
  2. Add the red bell pepper and pineapple to the pan and cook for 4 minutes.  Add the ginger and garlic and cook for 30 seconds more.
  3. In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, chicken broth, hoisin sauce and brown sugar.
  4. Add the sauce mixture to the pan and bring to a simmer.
  5. Mix the corn starch with 1 tablespoon of cold water; stir until smooth.
  6. Add the cornstarch mixture to the pan and stir to combine. Bring to a boil and cook for 1 minute or until sauce has just thickened.
Serve with rice.

Piletina s ananasom

 
Treba vam samo pola sata za ovo senzacionalno jelo koje vas nece ostaviti ravnodusnim. Podjseca me na prekrasno putovanje na Tajland, na koje sam isla s muzem prosle godine. Slatko - kiselkasti sos koji obavija komade piletine i ananasa odusevit ce sve za stolom. Garantujem! 
 
Sastojci
 
1/2 kilograma pilecih prsa (isijecite na kocke) 
1 solja ananasa isjecenog na kocke 
1 crvena paprika isjecena na kocke 
1 kasika protisnutog bijelog luka 
1 kasika protisnutog djumbira 
1 solja temeljca (najbolje pileceg) 
1/4 solje soja sosa (koristila sam pola od ove kolicine obicnog soja sosa a pola slatkog soja sosa. Sasvim je u redu ukoliko koristite obicni soja sos.)
3 kasike Hoisin sosa 
3 kasike braon secera 
2 kasike kukuruznog (ili drugog) skroba 
so i biber 
 
Postupak 
 
Zagrijte ulje na srednje jakoj vatri.
 
Piletinu posolite i pobiberite te preprzite, povremeno mijesajuci. Kocke piletine dinstajte 6 - 7 minuta prije nego nastavite s otalim koracima.

Dodajte crvenu papriku i ananas, oboje isjeceno na kocke. Dinstajte dodatnih  cc 4 minute. 

Za to vrijeme protisnite bijeli luk i djumbir. Kada ih dodate, dovoljno je da samo sve lijepo zajedno promijesati prije nego dodate sos. 

Najbolje je da ga pripremite prije nego sto pocnete dinstati piletinu. 

U jednu zdjelu sastavite temeljac, Hoisin sos, soja sos i secer. Dobro promijesajte i izlijte u tavu. Pustite da zavri. 
 
Rastopite dvije kasike kukuruznog ili drugog skroba s dvije kasike vode i dodajte u tavu kako bi sos postigao zeljenu gustocu. 

To ce uzeti dodatne 2 minute maksimalno. 
 
Posluzite s kuhanom rizom.
