Two Secrets to a old school cheesecake: 1. Use Philadelphia cream cheese and 2. Make a hot bath to bake it in to keep yellowish colour (otherwise will burn and turn golden brown). Well, OK, secret 2.5 is to keep ingredients outside at room temperature for 20 minutes prior to baking! Ingredients: 220g of biscuit crumbs 5 Tbsp of butter 700g of Philadelphia cheese Cup of sugar 2 Tbsp of white flour (or corn flour) 4 eggs Half a cup of sour cream 1 Tsp Vanilla Extract Pinch of Salt Preheat oven to 180 degrees Celsius. Add 220g of biscuit crumbs in first bowl. Melt 5 table spoons of butter and pour in with crumbs and mix all until crumbs thicken. Wrap a 20cm - 25cm diameter springform pan in aluminum foil. Move the crumbs from the bowl into the pan whose sides and bottom you greased with butter and spread evenly, pressing down with glass bottom. Once done put the crumbs into the preheated oven and keep for 10 minutes. Remove after 10 minutes and place outside until it cools down. In a second bowl, add 700g of Philadelphia cheese (preferably). Add a cup of sugar, pinch of salt and 2 tablespoons of white flour (or corn flour) and mix. Next add half a cup of sour cream and a tea spoon of vanilla extract (aroma) and mix. Finally while adding 4 eggs keep mixing until its all silky smooth! Pour the silky smooth contents of the bowl into the pan with the crumbs. Boil 1.5 - 2 liters of water and pour into a large pan that could hold the small spring pan with the cheesecake batter (depth of "hot bath" should be about a inch, ie, 2.5cm). Place the spring pan into the "hot bath" pan (filled with boiling water) and put in in the oven for an hour to bake at 180C. After one hour shut off oven but keep pan inside with door ajar for another hour. Finally remove and place into the fridge for at least 4 hours (but preferably over night) till it cools. Use a butter knife 360 degrees around the edges slowly before releasing from the pan. Serve alone or with toppings of your choice (in this case we used cooking chocolate and raspberries). Suprugov CheesecakeZelite da pravite Cheesecake slican kao u "Torte i To"? Treba vam oko 20 minuta (mada se pece sat, pa "miruje" sat u rerni pa treba jos barem 4 sata u frizideru da se stvrdne. Dvije i po' tajne: 1. Koristite samo Philadelphia Sir (Light ili Punomasni) 2. Pecite u kljucaloj vodi. 2.5 Sastojke drzite van barem 20 minuta prije nego pocnete.
Sastojci: 220g mrvica keksa (plazme ... ma mozete i Oreo ako zelite!) 5 Velikih Kasika puters 700g Philadelphia krem sir Solja secera (ili oko 250g) 2 Velike Kasike brasna 3 puna jaja 1 zumance jaja Polja solje pavlake 1 mala kasicica vaniline arome Prstohvat soli Zagrijte rernu na 180C. Ubacite 220g mrvica keksa u jednu zdjelu. Istopite 5 velikih kasika putera i ubacite u tu zdjelu i pomjesajte dok mrvice zgrudvate. U kalup promjera 20-25cm diametra kojem ste dno i strane premazali puterom (u kojem mozete stranu otkljcati ili dno progurati kroz vrh - pogledajte slike) ubacite mrve i poravnajte koristeci dno case. Kalup zamotajte sa aluminjskom folijom, dva put. Ubacite u rernu i pecite 10tak minuta dok se ne strdne kora. Nakon 10 minuta, izvaditi iz rerne i ostaviti vani 10-15 minuta da se ohladi. U drugu zdjelu ubacite 700g Philadelphia sira, solju secera, prstohvat soli i 2 velike kasike brasna i promjesajte dobro mikserom. Sljedece u istu zdjelu dodajte polja salje pavlake i malu kasiku vanila arome i opet mjesajte mikserom. Konacno, dodajte 4 jaja (umutite jedno po jedno s tim sto ce te iz 4og dodati samo zumance). Mjesajte dok ne bude vise malih grudvica (glatko, "svileno" ce izgledati). Iz druge zdjele istresti sve u kalup s korom. Prokljucajte 1,5 ili 2 litra vode i uspite u tepsiju (koja je vecih promjera od kalupa) dok dubina vode ne bude oko 2.5 ili 3cm. Stavite kalup sa aluminijskom folijom (dobro umojtate - 2 ili 3 sloja da voda ne ulazi) polako u tu "vrelu kupku" (tepsiju s kljucalom vodom) i sve ubacite u rernu na 180C da se pece sat vremena. Nakon sat vremena ugasite rernu ali ostavite jos sat sve unutra (vrata rerne ostavite malo otvorena). Nakon tih dodatnih sat ubacite sve u frizider (pokrijte vrh nekom folijom da ne poprimi miris ostalih namirnica u frizideru). Neka stoji u frizideru barem 4 sata (a bolje do sutra) prije nego servirate. Kada budete htjeli servirati, tankim nozem prodjiete cijelim obimom strane kalupa prije nego otvorite kalup ili progurate donji dio kroz vrh (zavisi od vrste kalupa), imace ce strane otpasti. Servirajte tako kakav i jest ili dodajte na vrh cokoladu ili neki preliv. Ako zeliete recimo Nutella Cheesecake, umutite jos oko 350 grama Nutella sa 700g Sira ili mozete napraviti Oreo cheesecake tako sto umutite Oreo, itd...Uzivajte!
