You are going to LOVE this only few ingredients Arabic Shortbread. No eggs, no baking powder inside. Meltingly smooth on the outside with a delicate crunch on the inside. I found this recipe in one of the most famous Cookbooks of Modern Arabic cuisines, and I fell in love with it. From this amount of ingredients you will make 6 dozen biscuits 1 cup butter (room temperature) 3/4 cup icing sugar 1 + 1/2 cups flour 1 tsp vanilla extract Prstohvat soli Pine nuts In medium bowl beat tougher butter and sugar. Takes about 10 minutes to get pale and creamy texture. It is very important to let sugar melt togheter with butter while beating. Add in vanilla and mix well. Sit the flour and salt. Add it gradually. Beat on low speed until it comes toghether. Refrigerate the dough for 30 minutes before shaping the shortbread. Preheatt oven to 170 C. Take small size pieces and roll gently in the palms of your hand to make a ball, place it on a parchment-lined baking try and gently flatten into disc and press a pine nut into the centre. Bake for 10 -12 minutes. Arapski Kolacici Ovi arapski kolacici prave se od svega nekoliko sastojaka. Vrlo jednostvano, brzo i prekrasnog okusa. Zanimljive su teksture. Izvana mekani a unutra delikatno hrskavi.
Od ove kolocine sastojaka napravit cete 60 kolacica 1 Solja putera (sobra temperatura. Ja stavim 250 gr) 3/4 Solje secera 1 + 1/2 Solja brasna Vanillin secer ili aroma vanilije Pinjole za ukrasiti (moze i bez njih) Najprije mikserom mutite secer i puter. Trebat ce vam 10tak minuta da dobijete finu, kremastu teksturu. Vrlo je vazno da puter i secer dobro izmiksate jer od toga ovisi okus kolacica i njihova tekstura. Dodajte vanilin secer ili aromu. Pomijesajte brasno s prstohvatom soli i postepeno dodajite u masu. Mijesajte na laganoj brzini dok se sve lijepo ne sjedini. Provjeriti prstima tijesto. Ono se ne bi trebalo lijepiti za prste ali ne bi smjelo biti ni previse tvrdo. Odlozite tijesto u frizider na pola sata. Pec zagrijte na 170 C. Uzimajte male kolicine tijesta i formirajte loptice. Redajte ih na pleh za pecenje kojeg ste oblozili papirom za pecenje. Lagano pritisnite prstom i ukrasite pinjolima. Pecite 10 - 12 minuta. Izvadite i ostavite da se ohlade.

It is cookie season guys! When I recall my childhood, I remember the smell of these cookies during December. This is my aunt, my mother's sister, recipe and she allowed me to share it with you :) Ingredients: Cookie Dough: 2 eggs 1 cup sugar 100 grams butter 1/3 cup oil 1/4 cup yoghurt 1/4 cup milk Baking powder Flour Filling: 1 cup jam 1 cup grounded walnuts 1 small pack Vanilla sugar or vanilla extract + Icing sugar Process: Beat eggs and sugar first, add butter and oil and beat until sugar melts. Add yoghurt, milk and flour with baking powder inside. You will need approximately 1/2 kg of flour to get firm cookie dough. Add flour cup by cup by kneading the dough constantly. Form small truffles and place it onto a baking sheet. Bake for 20 min on 180 C. When cookies are baked and semi cooled dig "the belly" of each cookie by using knife. When I said belly I mean the side of the cookie which was on the baking sheet during the baking. Use those cookie crumbs to make a filling. Put them in one deep jar, add 1 cup of grounded walnuts, 1 cup od jam (I use rose hip jam), vanilla extract or one pack of vanilla sugar. Mix it all together. Fill the empty bellies of your cookies, pair them and put them in raspberry juice (or any other red colored juice you like). Place it onto clean sheet to dry or soak the flavor of the juice you have put it in. Leave it that way for couple of minutes and then roll in icing sugar! Try not to eat all at once! Za tijesto vam je potrebno: 2 jaja 1 šolja šećera 100 grama putera 1/3 čaše ulja (ili fildžan) 1/4 čaše jogurta (ili pola fildžana) 1/4 šolje mlijeka Brašno Prašak za pecivo Za fill vam je potrebno: 1 šolja mljevenih oraha 1 šolja džema (ja koristim šipkov) Vanilin šećer Sok od maline (ili bilo koji drugi crveni sok) Šećer u prahu Proces: Najprije mutite jaja i šećer. Dodajte maslac i ulje i miksajte dok se šećer ne topi. Dodajte mliejko i jogurt. Potom postepeno, šolju po šolju dodajite brašno s praškom za pecivo, sve dok ne dobijete čvrsto tijesto za kolačiće. Oblikujte manje loptice i redajte ih na papir za pečenje koji ste stavili na pleh. Odmaknite po cc 3 cm između svakog kolačića. Pecite na 180 stepeni do 20 minuta. Kada se polu – ohladi, nožem izbušite dio koji je ležao na papiru za pečenje. Napravite prostor za fil. Mrvice koje ste dobili bušenjem kolačića iskoristite za fil. U to još dodajte mljevene orahe, džem i vanilin šećer. Sve sjedinite i filujte breskvice. Sastavljajte po dvije tako što ćete ih spajiti s one strane koju ste filovali. Pomočite ih u sok od maline (ja koristim domaći rastočeni koncentrat) i redajte na suhu površinu da upiju sok i da se mirisi sjedine. Neka tako stoje nekoliko minuta a potom ih uvaljajte u šećer u prahu. Happy weekend everybody! Believe me it is very simple to make and, of course, it is one more super delicious recipe. Ingredients: 1/2 cup sugar 3/4 brown sugar 1 tsp salt 1/2 cup malted butter 1 tsp vanilla extract 1 1/4 cups flour 1 tsp baking powder 1 egg (room temperature) cc 150 gr chocolate chunks or chopped dark chocolate Process: Preheat oven Whisk together sugars, salt, butter for few minutes until sugar melts. Sastojci 1/2 solje secera 3/4 solje tamnog secera 1 kasicica soli 1/2 solje rastopljenog putea 1 kasicica vanillin ektrakta ili vanillin secera 1 1/4 solje brasna u koje ste dodali kasicicu praska za pecivo 1 jaje otprilike 150 gr cokoladnih mrvica ili cokolade koju mozete izlomiti na male komade Postupak: U duboku zdjelu staviti puter, obje vrste secera i so i mutite koristeci mikser dok se secer ne istopi. Dodajte jaje i vanilin secer i nastavite mijesati jos malo. Primijetit cete da se masa odvaja od mutilica. Na kraju dodajte jednu cijelu + jednu cetvrtinu solje brasna pomijesanog s praskom za pecivo. Odlozite mikser i sjedinite brasno drvenom kasikom. Ovo ne trebate dugo mijesati, tek da se brasno sjedini s masom. Na kraju dodajte cokoladu. Tijesto ostavite u frizideru najmanje 30 minuta. Ukoliko zelite intenzivniji okus kolacica, neka tijesto ostane u frizideru preko noci. Na papir za pecenje redajte kolacice formirane u loptice i pecite na 180 stepeni 12 do 15 minuta (ovisno o velicini kolacica). Ja ih nikada ne pecem duze od 15. Nemojte da vas mekoca tijesta zavara, kada se ohlade oni ce se stegnuti. Ingredients: 1 cup rolled oats. Well, OK, secret 2.5 is to keep ingredients outside at room temperature for 20 minutes prior to baking! Add 220g of biscuit crumbs in first bowl. Melt 5 table spoons of butter and pour in with crumbs and mix all until crumbs thicken. Wrap a 20cm - 25cm diameter springform pan in aluminum foil. Move the crumbs from the bowl into the pan whose sides and bottom you greased with butter and spread evenly, pressing down with glass bottom. Once done put the crumbs into the preheated oven and keep for 10 minutes. Remove after 10 minutes and place outside until it cools down. In a second bowl, add 700g of Philadelphia cheese (preferably). Add a cup of sugar, pinch of salt and 2 tablespoons of white flour (or corn flour) and mix. Next add half a cup of sour cream and a tea spoon of vanilla extract (aroma) and mix. Finally while adding 4 eggs keep mixing until its all silky smooth! Pour the silky smooth contents of the bowl into the pan with the crumbs. Boil 1.5 - 2 liters of water and pour into a large pan that could hold the small spring pan with the cheesecake batter (depth of "hot bath" should be about a inch, ie, 2.5cm). Place the spring pan into the "hot bath" pan (filled with boiling water) and put in in the oven for an hour to bake at 180C. After one hour shut off oven but keep pan inside with door ajar for another hour. Finally remove and place into the fridge for at least 4 hours (but preferably over night) till it cools. Use a butter knife 360 degrees around the edges slowly before releasing from the pan. Serve alone or with toppings of your choice (in this case we used cooking chocolate and raspberries). Dvije i po' tajne: 1. Koristite samo Philadelphia Sir (Light ili Punomasni) 2. Pecite u kljucaloj vodi. 2.5 Sastojke drzite van barem 20 minuta prije nego pocnete.
Sastojci: 220g mrvica keksa (plazme ... ma mozete i Oreo ako zelite!) 5 Velikih Kasika puters 700g Philadelphia krem sir Solja secera (ili oko 250g) 2 Velike Kasike brasna 3 puna jaja 1 zumance jaja Polja solje pavlake 1 mala kasicica vaniline arome Prstohvat soli Zagrijte rernu na 180C. Ubacite 220g mrvica keksa u jednu zdjelu. Istopite 5 velikih kasika putera i ubacite u tu zdjelu i pomjesajte dok mrvice zgrudvate. U kalup promjera 20-25cm diametra kojem ste dno i strane premazali puterom (u kojem mozete stranu otkljcati ili dno progurati kroz vrh - pogledajte slike) ubacite mrve i poravnajte koristeci dno case. Kalup zamotajte sa aluminjskom folijom, dva put. Ubacite u rernu i pecite 10tak minuta dok se ne strdne kora. Nakon 10 minuta, izvaditi iz rerne i ostaviti vani 10-15 minuta da se ohladi. U drugu zdjelu ubacite 700g Philadelphia sira, solju secera, prstohvat soli i 2 velike kasike brasna i promjesajte dobro mikserom. Sljedece u istu zdjelu dodajte polja salje pavlake i malu kasiku vanila arome i opet mjesajte mikserom. Konacno, dodajte 4 jaja (umutite jedno po jedno s tim sto ce te iz 4og dodati samo zumance). Mjesajte dok ne bude vise malih grudvica (glatko, "svileno" ce izgledati). Iz druge zdjele istresti sve u kalup s korom. Prokljucajte 1,5 ili 2 litra vode i uspite u tepsiju (koja je vecih promjera od kalupa) dok dubina vode ne bude oko 2.5 ili 3cm. Stavite kalup sa aluminijskom folijom (dobro umojtate - 2 ili 3 sloja da voda ne ulazi) polako u tu "vrelu kupku" (tepsiju s kljucalom vodom) i sve ubacite u rernu na 180C da se pece sat vremena. Nakon sat vremena ugasite rernu ali ostavite jos sat sve unutra (vrata rerne ostavite malo otvorena). Nakon tih dodatnih sat ubacite sve u frizider (pokrijte vrh nekom folijom da ne poprimi miris ostalih namirnica u frizideru). Neka stoji u frizideru barem 4 sata (a bolje do sutra) prije nego servirate. Kada budete htjeli servirati, tankim nozem prodjiete cijelim obimom strane kalupa prije nego otvorite kalup ili progurate donji dio kroz vrh (zavisi od vrste kalupa), imace ce strane otpasti. Servirajte tako kakav i jest ili dodajte na vrh cokoladu ili neki preliv. Ako zeliete recimo Nutella Cheesecake, umutite jos oko 350 grama Nutella sa 700g Sira ili mozete napraviti Oreo cheesecake tako sto umutite Oreo, itd...Uzivajte! |
